About PILnet’s Children’s Rights Pro Bono Programme
PILnet is an international non-governmental organisation that creates opportunities for social change by unlocking law’s full potential. PILnet builds networks and collaborations between civil society organisations and private sector lawyers to support the organisations to be more resilient and impactful.
The overall objective of CLEAR-Rights Project is to improve equal access to a lawyer for children suspected or accused of crime, through strengthening access to quality and specialised government-funded legal aid and pro bono legal assistance.
Among the many activities developed under this project, there will be several occasions for capacity building for pro bono lawyers, including face-to-face and online trainings on child rights, child psychology, procedural safeguards for children, child safeguarding and child-friendly communication, as well as specialised webinars for legal aid and pro bono lawyers. As part of this project, PILnet will also create a network of pro bono lawyers interested in children’ rights.
With this short form, PILnet would like to collect the interest of lawyers to take part in the CLEAR-Rights Project and its activities.
Kind regards,
the PILnet Team
